I started getting facials monthly in my early 30’s to clear up the damage done to my skin from the acne I suffered with as a teen and young adult. After seeing the amazing results in my skin coupled with the relaxation I experienced, I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up and began to develop a love for skincare and wellness.
Being a single mother, getting my facials became more than a ritual for clear skin, it turned into my way of recharging. After working a full day at work and then coming home and being responsible for another human being and an attire household, you start running out of steam. We as women give so much of ourselves to other and we forget to replenish all that we’ve poured out. Well not me, I made a conscious decision that I was going to do something for myself on a regular basis and getting my facials was may saving grace.  One day while I was laying on my esthetician’s bed during a service it hit me, “I can do this, I can do for others what my esthetician was doing for me, rejuvenating my skin and my spirit.
In that moment, I decided that I was going to become an esthetician and esthetics was going to be platform to empower women to take care of themselves. After graduating at the top of my class at Ann Webb Skin Institute, I was offered a job at Ann Webb Skin Clinic as a Medical Esthetician. I also became Licensed Professional Laser Technician, Certified Medical Assistant and Licensed Esthetic Instructor.
